Food Wars - I survived, and all of them did, too.
Let the Official Parenting Record show that food wars are to be preferred over phone wars any day! Cheaper, too - WAY cheaper!

I just told my mom today that it is healthy for me to have a few ladies in my small group with teenagers. I get some perspective and realize I'm good with my screaming tots. May God give you wisdom, and then may you remember it all for me in 10 years.

If I had to eat a salmon quesadilla, I'd cry too. When I was a child we lived in Alaska and my dad when fishing. We LIVED on salmon for almost a year and now I can't even look at it. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm starting to get into phone wars with my tween. Yikes.
That's hilarious....they'll learn...slowly, but they do. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
Ah, yes, I remember the food wars, and how perfectly captured in your photograph! But better the food wars than being left with kids who will never try anything new. ('They'll thank us for it in the end...!') We don't have phone wars. Texting and MSN Messenger are the order of the day for teenagers in these parts. I hadn't realised until now how lucky that makes us!
