Not Overcome


"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it."
I'm memorizing John 1:1-18. 
Again. 
I've done it before, but it always seeps away. 
Not ALL of it; some bits are always left behind.

Christmas lights are my constant reminder in December.

... the darkness has NOT overcome it...
